LA Times – Waiting for death

It seems that everytime I want to give up on audio slidesshows – the often overused and misapplied visual medium – somebody comes along and just knocks it out of the park.

This haunting audio slideshow is an excellent use of the medium. Despite some slow parts in the middle where I think there might have been a tad too much focus on establishing scene the slideshow is quite compelling. Mostly because this man was so compelling. I watched the entire thing straight through, which I can’t say for most audio slideshows.
